Design Assistant

Collaborative 'SPARTH_Place in Orbit' studio space with German Media Artist Thomas Heidtmann @BangaloreFantastic.

https://vimeo.com/259654429

Along with my teammates, we had the opportunity to explore the dimensions of light, sound, sensors, projections and AR to create PSLV-C37 -inspired interactive installations. We built an installation that consisted of four parts: a mission control panel, a sculpture inspired by the mission’s main cargo CartoSat-2D, and smaller satellites that simulate CubeSats. These physically present objects were accompanied by several virtual objects.

NOV 2016 – DEC 2016

Design Assistant

Collaborative 'Port of Entry' studio space with Danish Sculptor/Artist Eva Koch
@Kochi-MuzirisBiennale2016.
Myself and my fellow group of design students from Srishti had an opportunity to learn from Eva Koch who is famous sculptor for her video installations. It was an incredible opportunity to explore the town of Mattancherry and Fort Kochi to learn and connect with people and culture of tourism, art and fisheries. Our team used this opportunity to tell stories of travel and ferries through projections and scrap material. This was to create an immersive experience between the viewer and the dancing lights contained within the domed Mill Hall.
